Among its attractions are the Faro del Comercio, the Neptune Fountain, the City Theater, and the Central State Library. This place is a cultural and social gathering point, surrounded by buildings of great historical value and different architectural styles.

The group will walk along Zaragoza Street to see the Monterrey Metropolitan Cathedral in Baroque style dating back to 1791, the Casino Monterrey building, and the ancient Chapel of the Sweet Names (Dulces Nombres). The tour continues with a walk through the central part of Macroplaza, where participants will see the City Theater building, the Infonavit building, the State Congress building, and the Central State Library "Fray Servando Teresa de Mier," all representative of Mexican modern and brutalist architecture. There will be a visit to the Mexican History Museum by architects Óscar Bulnes and Augusto Álvarez. A self-guided tour of the MARCO Museum is scheduled.
